I could build you a custom website from scratch, but it's going to put a (huge) dent in your wallet. Instead, I customize professional WordPress themes into something uniquely yours — at a fraction of the cost.

When I started my company back in 2004 – I loved designing websites for clients in Photoshop and then converting those images to html and css. Around 2008 I started creating custom WordPress templates (rudimentary at best)… but how times have changed! Nowadays the features and ease of use offered in WordPress themes is pretty darn amazing.

Yes, yes… a lot of companies promise 100% customization but you'll pay through the nose for that or you'll just end up with something that you just don't need. Shouldn't your money be spent on other things like SEO and/or copywriters so your site actually works for you? Because, to be honest, no matter how great your website looks, without well written content and in-depth search engine optimization, it's just a waste of your money.

So let's get started! We'll discuss what your objectives are and how best to showcase that. I'll work with you to find the best solution for a website that fits your needs at a price you can afford.

A good WordPress theme allows you to customize the look and feel of your site to your heart's content… and a good designer knows how to take advantage of that!

Did you know that many of the sites I've created use the same WordPress themes? Hard to tell, isn't it? Simply put, if you can image it, I can build it.

The best thing about WordPress is that it's super flexible AND, with a few simple lessons, I can teach you how to edit and add content to your own website so you don't have to rely on others to make edits for you! Pretty slick, huh?

“But I don't WANT a WordPress site!”, you say?

Totally fair — plenty of people don't. I build plain HTML/CSS sites just as often these days: no database, no plugins, nothing to hack, and nothing that needs a monthly login to keep it running. They're a great fit if your site doesn't change much month to month, or if you'd rather never think about WordPress security again. You'll need some basic HTML knowledge to update it yourself, or just send me the changes and I'll quote the cost BEFORE I start.

Isn't it time to talk about your new website?

I don't have a fancy office with a lobby, a receptionist, or motivational posters about teamwork. What I do have is a 10-foot commute from bed to coffee maker to desk — and honestly, I've never once been stuck in traffic. Officially, I'm “Doing Business As” (DBA) ONNA Web Design out of Spearfish, South Dakota. But don't worry — you don't need to fly to South Dakota (though you absolutely should sometime, it's gorgeous) to get a great website. I build sites for clients all over the map — no plane ticket or in-person meeting required.
